Ramen Thursday at Ikkyu! This is the Tonkotsu and boy was it delicious
Ginger pork bento box from Ikkyu. It’s a really nice small Japanese restaurant.
Rosemary encrusted lamb chops, purple cauliflower rice “risotto” with mushrooms and parmesan cheese, and eggplant/butternut squash salad with honey/balsamic vinaigrette
My new ceramic coated non-stick was begging to be photographed
Chicken wings anyone? Specifically buttered, parmesan, garlic and herb wings? So insanely delicious! Don’t forget the paprika and a little chili pepper.
Not the prettiest photos but Emily and I made beef back ribs last night. It’s not hard to make the meat taste good, just slooooow cook them!
Spinach, Prosciutto and sour cream stuffed pork loin. The vegetables where covered in an arugula and mint dressing.
Smack you in your face flavor!
I went to the Congress Cup Cafe today and had the most delicious brunch. So delicious in fact that I felt
the need to recreate it.
Poached eggs slightly baked, leeks and ham in gruyere cheese with cream and herbs topped with some scallions. Tasted just as good when I made it!
You’ve heard about it. You’ve wondered what it tasted like. The bacon shell taco! I’m here to say, it’s delicious. Make one!
I made the shell by baking bacon over a foil form. It was a little awkward and I didn’t entirely account to shrinking a bit but it still was magical.
